We're laser-focused on building our community here so we can bring back our live shows. While we get everything perfect for live broadcasts directly on Substack, we might pop up on other platforms for some interim live content. So, stay tuned right here for every update! Why iROBUSTO on Substack?
For years, we built a fantastic community on YouTube, sharing our passion for cigars and all the conversations that come with it. However, as many of you know, our journey on YouTube hit a significant roadblock. Despite not selling cigars, YouTube's strict and long-standing policies against tobacco sales, which have been under scrutiny for almost a decade, unfortunately led to the banning of our channel. And then, in a twist of fate, the same happened to LeeMack912's channel when we tried to continue our show there. It became clear that YouTube, for all its strengths, was no longer a viable home for our unique content.
This wasn't just a setback; it was a wake-up call. We believe the show must go on, and we're committed to keeping the Meet in the Middle Cigar Show alive. That's why, after a recommendation to LeeMack912 to start a Substack, I decided to launch iROBUSTO here as well. This platform offers us the freedom to create and connect with our community without the constant threat of being shut down.
